Adjustments
What you can change
Seven groups of settings, available from the accessibility interface.
Font adjustments
Increase and decrease size, change the family, and adjust spacing, alignment, and line height.
Color adjustments
Select contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome, or swap the color schemes of titles, text, and backgrounds across more than seven options.
Animations
Stop all running animations with a single click, including videos, GIFs, and CSS flashing transitions.
Content highlighting
Emphasize important elements such as links and titles, or highlight only the elements currently focused or hovered.
Audio muting
Mute the entire website instantly, for people using hearing devices that automatic audio can disrupt.
Cognitive support
A dictionary search linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, for deciphering phrases, initials, and slang.
Additional functions
Change cursor color and size, switch to a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and more.

Behind the scenes
Ongoing automated optimization
The site is re-scanned every 24 hours.
The website uses an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level every 24 hours. It remediates the site's HTML and adjusts how the site behaves for screen readers used by people with visual impairments, and for the keyboard functions used by people with motor impairments.
Screen-reader optimization
The application learns the site's components and supplies screen readers with meaningful data using ARIA attributes — accurate form labels, descriptions for actionable icons, validation guidance for inputs, and element roles such as buttons, menus, and modal dialogs.
It also scans images and provides a description as alternate text, extracting any text embedded in the image using optical character recognition.
Screen-reader users receive an automatic announcement on arrival, and can turn adjustments on at any time with Alt + 1.
Keyboard navigation
The site is operable by keyboard alone. Navigate with Tab and Shift + Tab, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys and close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links with Enter, and move between radio buttons and checkboxes with the arrow keys, selecting with Space or Enter.
Quick-navigation and content-skip menus are available at any time with Alt + 1.
When a popup appears, keyboard focus moves to it and stays within it until it is closed.

Despite our best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or lack an adequate technological solution to make them accessible.
We are continually improving the accessibility interface — adding and updating its options and features, and adopting new technologies as they mature — with the aim of reaching the optimal level of accessibility at all times.
